Welcome to Destin, FL... “The Luckiest Fishing Village in the World” and home to Florida’s largest fishing fleet, sugar-white sand beaches and too many tourists! Destin is the 3rd most popular tourist destination in Florida. Yes, I like to fish and these are the most beautiful beaches in the U.S., but I long for the beautifully dry weather of the West. Humidity has never been my favorite thing.
How are all of you doing??? Let me know. It would be great to hear from you. Regarding this year’s reunion, I signed up for the dinner, made flight reservations, then had to cancel. I will definitely be present for our 50th, and I hope to see everyone there.
I remember attending the 30th reunion and how much fun it was. It was magical. It was like being in a dream world. I wish I could be there to enjoy the evening with you this time around (our 45th). I am planning trips to California in the next year, however.
Since this web site is brand-spankin’ new, I will try to improve it with time -- perhaps add some pictures from the good-old-days. So check in, from time to time, send some pictures of your own, and let me know how you are doing Happy Trails, Russ
